Your Choice……Is It Hard Copy Or Is It Digital? Will Your Product Be Used By The Buyer?
There are those of you who will say “So Why Should I Worry? They bought it didn’t they? I don’t care whether or not they use it.”
That’s an inappropriate point of view
I hope that offering real value to your market is the reason you’re in business. You should be or you won’t have a business for long.
Just last week, I was in discussion with a potential client about a product launch He had done his research. He had identified the best price point in the internet marketing niche. He had created a new product and was making a strong pitch to attract new JVs.
Unfortunately. he had decided to deliver his great product by the slowest means possible
Imagine for a moment that you’ve just spent $1k+ on this totally awesome new internet business building product only to discover that before you can get on with it you’ll have to wait 7 days. Not what you really want to hear!
Alternatively, as you have already put the whole course on a robust membership site, your client can get prompt access to the whole course and start building his business instantaneously. No bother and no delays. He can begin using it immediately.
So are hard copy products no longer viable? The reply…….Certainly NOT!
Include it as an upsell in your offer. Often your prospects will feel more comfortable with a hard copy product However, don’t forget the buyers who never take the product out of its packaging. You must do everything you can to ensure that your product gets consumed. That means that providing a means for your clients to start instantly is essential Your buyers will not be happy to wait more than two days for the postman to deliver the product.
Your number one goal as a marketer is to turn prospects into buyers. Delivering added value is a must. It is essential that you provide more than your prospects could have possibly hoped for Your price point is part of this equation. It’s about creating an overwhelming offer.
No matter how hard you worked on creating a peach of a product, if no-one actually consumes it, your effort has been futile.
