Irish Drinking T-Shirts, St. Patrick’s Day, And Making Mistakes

Posted in Humor on January 13th, 2012 by Aaron Gaines – Be the first to comment

Last St. Paddy’s Day, I woke up without really knowing where I was and what had happened to me. I was in someone’s house that I didn’t know, my face hurt, and my Irish drinking t-shirts were nowhere to be found. I had had way too much fun the previous evening, and I had to figure out how to get home. My story isn’t unique, either. Here’s a list of things to avoid doing on St. Paddy’s Day.

The night of St. Paddy’s Day is and easy night to make some serious mistakes. One of the absolute worst mistakes you can make is to let your beer goggles cloud your better judgment and take home some poor girl who hates herself enough to be someone’s one-night-stand. If you wake up and she’s wearing your Irish drinking t-shirts…just let her have the shirt and leave. It’s not worth rescuing.

Getting so drunk on St. Paddy’s Day that you forget what you’re doing and black out is never a good idea. If you’re one of those people who don’t know how to slow down their drinking and do it responsibly, then you may be full-blooded Irish and truly deserve those Irish drinking t-shirts you wear. If you drink responsibly, most of these other mistakes can be easily avoided.

The last easy mistake to avoid on Saint Patrick’s Day is the basic Irish curse. Do your very best to make sure that the booze that you drink doesn’t tip your already-poor temper in a bad direction. Getting into a huge fight on Saint Patrick’s Day ruins everyone’s fun, so why even bother? If someone makes you mad, just take a few deep breaths and walk in the other direction.

I’m not trying to tell you that you can’t get loaded and have an awesome time. It’s St. Patty’s Day, after all, and you’re not wearing these Irish drinking t-shirts for nothing. Enjoy yourself and remember to maintain a steady level on intoxication without going nuts, and everything should be a-ok!

A Guide To Buying Funny T-Shirts

Posted in Humor on January 5th, 2012 by Ben Mosley – Be the first to comment

For the purposes of this article, let us pretend that you are one of the rare souls who have never bought anything on the World Wide Web before in your whole life. One day, you see someone wearing a shirt that you find absolutely hilarious. You ask that person, “Hey…where do you buy funny t-shirts like that?” They say that you get them on the Internet, of course! Now you have to crack your knuckles and tread out into the dangerous waters of Internet Commerce to find those funny t-shirts you want so very badly. You open up your preferred search engine, type in “funny t-shirts”, and settle down for your first digital shopping experience.

When you search the Internet for funny t-shirts, you’re going to certainly be overwhelmed by how many options you have. There are simply too many to count, and you’ll never make it through them all. You need to pick one out that suits your needs and dive right in, or else you’ll go into information overload and never make a good selection. You can look through the first few funny t-shirts on several sites until you find one that suits your sense of humor. Now we have a good place to really start shopping.

You need to do a little digging first before you start throwing money at a company you know nothing about. You can find out lots of information, just by returning to your search engine and performing a search of the company’s name. You can find their social bookmarks, what other people have to say about them, and what kind of fan base they’ve built on social networks. If this information is suspiciously absent or is mostly negative, you know you need to stay away.

The next thing you should do, if time permits, is to buy just one shirt. If you spend a lot of money on several funny t-shirts, then you won’t have the cash to buy from somewhere else if your shopping experience turns sour. You will also have the opportunity to see how smoothly their operation works. How fast you get your order and the worth of that product when it arrives is very important to any consumer. This way, you can scout the company out before you dedicate yourself to further purchases.

If a company treats you badly or you are not happy with the quality of your new funny t-shirts, make sure you leave a customer review somewhere on the Internet. Mention the company’s name and leave a thorough, but honest review of the company so that others will not fall into the same trap that you have. The Internet may thrive on anonymity, but that doesn’t mean that faceless companies should get away with mistreating customers.

The Rise Of Funny Geek T-Shirts

Posted in Site Promotion on January 5th, 2012 by Mark Ladd – Be the first to comment

The rise of the geek is here, my friends! I’m not quite sure when it happened, but it’s not so bad to be a geek these days. It may have been when the power geeks from yesterday started graduating college and becoming the entrepreneurs and bosses to the masses. That doesn’t really explain why dorky things have become so popular today. Funny geek t-shirts are selling like hotcakes and geek media is being watched all over the Internet.

Being a consummate geek myself, I happily embrace this trend of geeky idol-worship. I’ve been making and selling funny geek t-shirts for years, and I have noticed a massive upswing in sales. People who don’t have a geeky bone in their body are buying up funny geek t-shirts just so that they can look, act, and fit into nerd culture.

When in the world did that happen? When I was a kid, it seemed like all my friends and I wanted to do was fit in enough to be friends with more popular kids. Now the popular kids want to be more like us! There was never a point in my high school or college careers that I thought for one second that such a role reversal would ever occur. Whatever the explanation may be, I really don’t care. It’s a real thrill when I’m wearing one of my funny geek t-shirts and have some rocker kid ask me where I got it.

Technology is the cause of this angst I feel. Where once technology was something that only a select few of us dabbled in because we had a genuine passion for it, now technology is forced upon the ignorant because they HAVE to learn it or be left far behind the rest of us. Mark Zuckerberg may be the biggest nerd there’s ever been since the original “Revenge of the Nerds” released to theaters. Now, he’s regarded as one of the most influential people in the whole world.

Wearing a funny geek t-shirt used to mark you as someone who was outside of the mainstream and immediately identified you with a set of core interests and principles. Someone in a funny geek t-shirt will probably be into computers, play video games, be socially awkward, and maybe dabbled in some Dungeons and Dragons. Now, the next person you see wearing a funny geek t-shirt could be anyone. The age of the faux geek is upon us, I fear.

3 Most Funny Text Messages And Their Meaning

Posted in Humor on December 6th, 2011 by Irma Villarreal – Be the first to comment

In order to keep your loved ones cheerful, everyone certainly knows that calling is no longer an option due to the many activities one has to do everyday. Rather, sending amusing texts have been the norm. This alternative of sending funny text messages is probably the most effective way to keep in contact with the loved ones.

Some are usually procrastinating and entertaining but they posses some kind of truth in them. Someone would send you an amusing one written that; hard work has a future payoff while laziness will pay off right away. Many would agree that instant payouts are the best. However, they would not like to be associated with laziness.

Some would limit you to your age groups only. There is no way you would send one to either your father or mother when written that they should be friendly to their kids since they are the ones who would choose the home when they get old. This might be entertaining but less assured it would not be taken lightly by your parents.

For those who do not know, some could be pretty much educative. For instance one stating that what comes to whoever waits might also be things left behind by those who arrived much earlier. It could simply mean that the earliest bird grabs the warm. The hilarious part of it is that it could also mean that the warm ate the first bird to arrive. As amusing as it could sound, it definitely has a certain teaching.

Among others, these hilarious texts can be obtained from the many utility networks online. Many forums, blogs and picture often have amusing messages they tend to relay.

When funny text messages are shared among friends and family, anyone can have their day brightened. That is not all; it could impact in stronger bonds among individuals. In fact, it can be an effective way to lower stress.

Funny T-Shirts For Funny People

Posted in Humor on April 22nd, 2011 by Roger Mills – Be the first to comment

Whenever a function is held that attracts scores and scores of people, you will inevitably see funny t-shirts there. These functions can be as small as a trip to the bar or as large as a massive outdoor festival.

The problem with funny t-shirt is that comedy is purely subjective. You may be a huge Jeff Foxworthy fan, but George Carlin may be more my cup of tea. No one can refute that either one of those comedians are funny, but they might not make everyone laugh all of the time. The same thing is true for funny t-shirts, which is why there are so many different kinds of funny t-shirt out there for sale. Just for analytical purposes, I’ve presented a list of the top five types of funny t-shirt buyers.

1. The Frat Guy is a deceptive moniker, because he can be virtually any age. The Frat Guy is most typically seen wearing a funny t-shirt that is pulled directly from the most popular comedy films that are released during his time in school. They will continue to rehash these jokes multiple times in their lives, buying t-shirts on the subject each time their old shirts wear down.

2. Mr. Hipster will always be too cool to wear funny t-shirts based on jokes that anyone may understand, so they take the opposite route. Mr. Hipster wears shirts that have kittens, horses, puppies, or even unicorns on them. They believe that the gender-bending properties of wearing cute t-shirts is funnier than any intentional joke that someone could tell,

3. There is a creepy individual out there that can only be known as the Sex Freak. Do not worry, ladies. His funny t-shirts may be covered with blatant sexual references, but that is only because they are actually very shy and withdrawn. The funny t-shirts they wear are the only way they feel they can really open up and confront women on any level.

4. At first glance, the Sex Kitten may seem like a perfect match for the Sex Freak. She wears funny t-shirts that are provocative, but she will never synch up with someone like the Sex Freak. She uses the allure of being provocative to manipulate and get free drinks and bars and other functions. While the Sex Freak may be hopeful and spend money on her, she will be leaving with whatever Alpha Male happens to club her over the head and drag her away first.

5. The Drinker is a person who lets alcohol be the foremost thing on their mind and on their funny t-shirts. These people are born for one thing, and that thing comes in a bottle and gets you very inebriated. They have ritualized their partying process to the point that they have a several steps that must be completed before they feel safe enough to go out and have their drink, and one of those steps is always to put on that one shirt that makes them happy to have a beer in their hand.

Trying to name all of the different types of funny t-shirt owner in the world in nigh impossible, but these five can be found nearly anywhere you may find a large group of people. Luckily, we live in a country that allows us to say whatever we want. It’s this ability to wear these clothes that lets us glimpse into the hearts of the people wearing them.

You should check out funny t-shirts atfunny t-shirt for information on this new process.

T-Shirts: A Great Conversation Starter

Posted in Advertising on December 29th, 2010 by Jane Kenton – Be the first to comment

I love t-shirts, the less serious, the better. Many Individuals like to wear a shirt which makes a statement, something which says something about their personal character and their morals. Me, I like to wear something irreverent, enjoyable and the weirder it is, the better it is.

There is just something enjoyable and fascinating in having people look at your t-shirt and then take a second look to make sure that what they saw or read was right. Sometimes it’s even a fantastic conversation starter.

If you happen to be wearing a fun shirt with an image of an iconic 1970′s cartoon character, it may possibly draw some comment out of a passerby or the person sitting next to you on the train. The t-shirts do a great job of stirring up memories of enjoyable things from the past like that. Now, granted you do not necessarily want to start a conversation with everyone you meet on the train, but it isn’t always too weird. They are really terrific conversation starters and with the ideal t-shirt you can get anyone commenting on it.

The great thing about t-shirts is that there really are unlimited selections when it comes to choosing what you want to wear. You are able to find just about anything that you want, anything that you love or ever loved as a child. If you searched hard enough, you could probably locate a t-shirt with an image of your favorite big wheel that you rode all over the neighborhood when you were little. And if you can not find it, you can always have it made.

Having a shirt is as easy as uploading some cool design onto a website and hitting the order button. You can have anything that you would like made and printed on a t-shirt. They are good for any personal reasons, just to have fun and to be different, but t-shirts work really well for business reasons as well. And because people love t-shirts and will wear just about anything that’s free, giving away free t-shirts is a perfect way to get nearly free advertising. And if you don’t use a cheap quality shirt, people will continue to wear them and the advertising will continue to work long after the t-shirts have paid for themselves. Either way, T-shirts work great for personal or business applications, you just have to locate something that works for you and your business.

T shirts are great use in your personal life in addition to in business. Whether you are using your T shirt to make a statement or advertise a brand, log onto finroo.com.

Online Retail Survival & Profits In 5 Semi-Easy Steps

Posted in Home Based Business on November 27th, 2010 by Rick London – Be the first to comment

When I was mere teen I started my first retail sales job was , my neighbor’s dad’s record store in downtown Hattiesburg, Ms. Sales were a simple thing then. A customer, generally, had heard a song on our local radio station, WXXX, and came in, usually the following Friday or Saturday, and wanted to hear a bit of it on the built in record player. If it was the right song it was usually a sale. Every Friday I got paid in my choice, records or cash or cash and records. I went for the latter.

As years went by, and finally after college, I took jobs in various industries, but always seemed to migrate back to retail. Now I am a cartoonist. In September of 2006, I opened my first online retail store which sold (and continues to sell) tees, mugs and such bearing my offbeat cartoon images.

I studied at an online university from 2002-2006 to learn IT and business, but even it did not prepare me for what was to come. How does one deal with customers in which, more often than not, one is dealing with a computer rather than a human?

Also you can check this useful article Photovoltaic Panels – Solar PV Panels

Four years have now passed since I opened my first online shop, and I now have four more and over 200,000 licensed gifts and tees. Since I do not stock inventory, I use manufacturer/dropshippers who print and deliver my goods, so I have to choose carefully. With my core manufacturer, I made certain I have access to all my customers names and mailing addresses so that I can stay in touch for sales, promotions, etc. If you are able to do that, please do. But don’t expect that kind of respect from the major online POD’s (Print On Demand) firms such as Zazzle, Printfection, Threadless, Cafe Press and the other big dogs. Here are my five steps to online retail survival and even profit.

1. Become “Mr. Or Ms. Knowledge. This does not mean “know it all” or “guru”. It simply means to catalogue useful information and purveying it to others through blogs and article marketing. Eventually existing customers and new ones come to rely on your for good info and google your name. Writing blogs such as this often come from a combination of both reading and experience, and just know that experience provides much greater information (over read material)

2. Utilize Twitter, facebook, Amplify and other social networks; even social bookmark networks such as Furl, Delicious, and others. Many try to dictate the “right” and “wrong” way to do this. In reality, what works for “Fred” will probably not work for “Barney”. Social media is truly not a one-size-fits-all world. Many well known brand businesses use the totally personal approach of having a person trying to juggle all the balls in the air engaging in one-on-one dialogue 24/7. Other companies have so much information, they use a real human person to “tweet” all the while having pre-schuduled “news tweets” going using such systems as Hootsuite or Twaitter. These are also ideal for smaller or mid-size firms that may be on a limited budget but want to have an online presence throughout the day and night. It is particularly effective for my firm since half of our orders are from Europe, and are processed in the middle of the night here in the U.S.

3. Know that we are all working globally now (our customer base) but don’t forget to act in your local community as well. This is one that I procrastinated for a long time, and my wife found a way for me to want to give it a try by creating a very attractive “thank you” packet that we sometimes leave with someone in the service industry who has treated us well. The presentation she created is so unique, it has already proven effective even after only handing out a few of them. We have noticed large orders originating from our own hometown. I don’t spend as much time on this as I believe I should and plan to utilize it more often. I am used to working online but my goal is to balance that. I will report again in a few months to let you know how things evolve.

4. Mark your prices affordably. This time the dot.com bubble appears not to be busting. More and more people are appreciating the convenience of shopping online. But just like in physical stores, people like a good price. One has to make a profit to stay open, but one has to price it within reason so that the market can afford it, or the market will shop elsewhere.

5. Don’t open until you have an inventory. When I say inventory I don’t mean ten or twenty items. Whether you are using a POD manufacturer or making your products locally or dropshipping someone else’s or becoming an associate, fill your page with salable images. I did not start selling until I had a few hundred items in my shops, but it is different for everyone. Now that there are thousands, they are picked up by all the major shopping channels such as Google Shopping, The Find, Shop.com, etc. People rely on these sites for useful retail information and comparison. Fill your store, then open.

Wake Up Your Meeting!

Posted in Humor on November 23rd, 2010 by Kris O'shea – Be the first to comment

“My brain is fried.”

“I’m exhausted.”

“I can’t take in another piece of information!”

Ever felt this way after a long day at a convention or meeting?

Of course you have. For most people, there comes a point when attending meetings or conferences when the brain becomes overloaded. Even if it is content that is interesting to you, there comes a point of saturation where you simply cannot take in anything else. You are fried! You need a break.

So why do so many people think that when it comes to meetings, trainings, and conventions that they must pack in content, content, content to the exclusion of anything else? We’ve all seen it at conferences: the person standing at the lectern, using PowerPoint, droning into the microphone: “And that concludes our analysis of the proposed multilateral contract logistic initiatives. Now let’s discuss these multilateral initiatives as they apply to penguins.” Good gravy.

Television and the internet have lowered the attention span of the modern adult. In order to stay engaged, meeting attendees need variety and multi-sensory stimulation to have their mood uplifted and their concentration enhanced throughout the day.

Thankfully, there are many meeting professionals who understand the value in providing motivation and humor during their conferences and meetings.

Engage Your Attendees with Motivation and Humor

We live in an entertainment-based culture. It is not enough to simply present a “data-dump” of information and expect people to stay tuned in. To keep meeting attendees engaged throughout the day, many seasoned meeting planners use the following formula:

Motivational or humorous speaker for morning general session to kick off the day with a bang.

Content-rich breakout sessions in alignment with learning objectives that are led by presenters who are well-versed in adult learning principles.

Motivational or business humor speaker after lunch to reenergize attendees for the afternoon breakout sessions.

More content-rich breakout sessions in alignment with learning objectives that allow for learner application and interaction.

High energy wrap-up to end the day on a positive note.

This format energizes, motivates, and connects people during the general sessions, so that they can refocus and reengage in significant learning throughout the day. Because attendees aren’t suffering from information overload, they are more likely to be fully present in their learning experiences during the breakout sessions. According to Debbie Taylor, owner of Taylor Made Events and Speakers, there is great value in adding motivational humor to the general sessions of a conference: “Laughing and learning go hand in hand. Humor holds the audience’s attention and helps them to think creatively. It releases stress and creates great memories. Find a way to add humor to your meeting and you will see an increase in the bottom line.”

Build a Positive Community Through Humor

Besides creating educational opportunities, meetings and conventions are also occasions to build community. When people laugh together, they are bonded in a positive experience. These good feelings create a positive association with the organization in which they are members. It allows for deeper a connection among attendees.

Cara Tracy, CMP, meeting planner for the National Speakers Association, uses humor at their conferences throughout the year. “At our meetings we like to lighten up a content-filled program by kicking it off with humor. This raises the energy level in the room and engages the audience–setting the stage for a successful learning environment. I find that the use of humor in meetings can really help unite a group–giving them inside jokes to laugh about when they get back to the office or to carry a funny incident throughout the event.”

When planning your meeting, in addition to assessing your learning objectives, also ask yourself, “What experience do I want to create?” Then, use the general sessions as the time to create those positive experiences. Additionally, make sure that you allow ample networking time for the attendees to share their insights and laughter in order to enhance the feeling of community.

Engagement + Community=ROI

Utilizing motivation and humor can increase attendee satisfaction. Furthermore, it can make learning stick because attendees are more alert and engaged throughout the meeting. When attendees are satisfied and learning, there is a greater chance that an improvement in behavior and results will follow, thus increasing your ROI. If your attendees are tuned out and overloaded, your ROI suffers.

A meeting without levity is like a joke without a punchline…it flops. But a meeting that combines educational value with a positive experience is the one everyone will remember.

What You Wear Today May Be Out Of Style Tomorrow

Posted in Marketing on August 30th, 2010 by Jane Kenton – Be the first to comment

When you walk around in any crowded place or people watching at any social gathering place, you will notice that they all have something in common. Usually, if you see a group of people, there will be a common theme, something that makes them look similar. It especially applies to children and young adults.

They are so eager to fit in which is usually copy one another regardless of how it looks from the outside. Fashions and trends are often more than one thing young people, young people are victims of myopia everything. When everyone is doing the same, so if you’re the only one not doing it, you feel like you’re abroad. When in fact you are setting the next trend.

These trends and fashions are often expressed in fashion and clothing. What is popular this year, not to cool down next year and the new age will be the thing very soon. It seems silly, once you grow and see what is most important, but when you are in the age group it affects, it really looks like a big deal.

Do not wear the right pair of sneakers or wearing a pair of jeans that do not wash them right are almost certain ostracism and death of a teenager. While not listening to good music can be an obstacle if the wrong people know. Finally, you’ll be out of it and you stop caring what other people care and everything is a little better.

These fads come and go, but there are certain things that stick out there and there are certain fabrics that never go out of fashion. And remember, everything is cyclical and returned. In the nineties, we had to endure the sixties again when the children of the flower power generation is old enough to see what it was. Even bellbottoms and certain things from the seventies have reappeared again.

What was old becomes new again as newer generation discover their parents old things up in the attic and in the back of the closet. I am almost certain that the eighties will not make a comeback, but stranger things have happened and only time will tell. We might even see those baggy MC Hammer pants come back into fashion.

At one time there was only one type of t-shirt, which both men and women wore. In today’s day and age this is no longer the case. Now, Womens t shirts require a separate identity from Mens tee shirts. To find that tee which is ideal for you go to finroo.com.

The Multi Versatile T-Shirt

Posted in Marketing on August 16th, 2010 by Jane Kenton – Be the first to comment

Some things should not be coming back style. Boots and platform shoes thought. Some things should just stay in the closet and thrift shop, and then there are other styles, and looks forward to the progress of inspection can be done at any time, never out of style.

One of the most versatile pieces of clothing found in the closet of anyone. T-shirts are so comfortable and versatile, you could almost wear them at any time and for any occasion. Also, is that t-shirts do more than just make you a comfortable and pajama top.

You can use them in other ways, such as advertising. T-shirts to gifts and Britain are appropriate for your advertising agency or local activities and organizations. Everyone likes to wear them, they are suitable for almost any style. They have a variety of colors and cooperation, but make them more cool, you can put your shirt. The only limitation is your imagination limits what you can and limit your creativity.

They can have anything you can imagine, they can display your company logo or name of your company or organization. He came to you with something intelligent and interesting, and put on the shirt. In fact, he did not even need to be so smart or interesting because people like T-shirts so they are about any type you can think. And if it is ironic, even stupid, it will be even more popular.

Especially with younger people who are looking to set themselves apart from everybody else by wearing something different and unique. That is why young people dress so weirdly; it is because they are trying to set themselves apart from everybody else and trying to be different. They are trying so desperately to be different and make a statement, they are willing to try new things and wear things that might not make perfect sense to anybody else. That is why they can sometimes look awkward and silly, but every once and a while something sticks and other people start to pick up on the new ideas. That is where trends and new styles come from and eventually make their way across the country and finally run out of steam.

T shirts are everywhere you turn. There are funny tshirts, expressive tees and t-shirts that market a company or business. To browse through a selection of custom t-shirts check out www.finroo.com.
